Both large-volume and short-run copy/print jobs finish with amazing speed,

simplicity, and superb image quality.

Super-Efficient Colour and B/W Output

The tandem printing engine with four in-line

drums helps the AR-C262M deliver a fast

output of 26 cpm/ppm in full colour and 32

cpm/ppm in B/W. And the first copy comes out in just 8.0

seconds in full colour and 7.0 seconds in B/W. But speed is just

one of the benefits of tandem printing; its short, straight paper

path minimises misfeeds to save you paper and toner costs.

Convenient RADF

With the standard-equipped RADF

(reversing automatic document

feeder), the AR-C262M can

automatically feed in a stack of up

to 100 single- or two-sided

originals (A4 or smaller),

eliminating the tedious task of placing and turning over each page

by hand.

Duplex Copying/Printing

The AR-C262M can make two-sided copies

and printouts when equipped with the

optional duplex module and duplex

bypass/inverter unit, effectively reducing

paper costs as well as saving filing space.

Auto duplexing is available for paper weights

up to 200 g/m

. This allows you, for example,

to create impressive company brochures and

business proposals by using thick paper for the cover.

Large Paper Capacity

For high-volume work, the

AR-C262M can accommodate an

optional 3,500-sheet large-

capacity tray and stand with 3 x

500-sheet paper drawers for a

total capacity of 5,750 sheets,

helping to minimise the risk of running out of paper in the middle

of a printing job.

Productive Collated Output from Memory

For efficient copying, the AR-C262M’s Scan Once/Print Many and

electronic sorting functions save each page of a multi-page

original to internal memory. Then the AR-C262M automatically

outputs collated job sets in proper page order, with each set

offset stacked for easier retrieval.

Automated Job Finishing

The AR-C262M makes it easy to create

professional-looking booklets. Working

together with the highly productive stackless

duplex module, the optional Saddle Stitch

Finisher folds and staples sets of

documents to make completed booklets. A

Punch Module allows you to punch holes

in documents for easy filing.

Superb Image Quality

The AR-C262M’s high 600-dpi scan/print resolution

ensures that the details of your original document come

out clear and legible. Employing a write head with

Sharp’s original 4-bit image processing LED, the AR-C262M

achieves superb colour fidelity equivalent to 256 gradations per

CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) colour, using the dither

matrix process. You get beautiful printouts and copies with

impressive colour detail.

Note: 1-bit only when copying with the electronic sorting function. Printing

requires optional memory.

New Oil-Less Toner

Sharp’s newly developed oil-less

toner produces vivid, natural-

looking colour documents

without leaving a glossy coating

on the paper’s surface. You can

easily write messages or paste sticky notes on copies and printouts

even if they contain many colour photos.

Simple and Easy Auto Colour Mode

Auto Colour Mode analyses the content of an original document

and automatically recognises the type of original. It then selects

the optimum copy mode to produce copies that are faithful to the

original. When copying a document that has text over a pale

coloured background, this function can be set to automatically

remove background colour, thus producing copies that are clearer

and easier to read.
