Advanced Recording

+ Even a beginner can easily make a recording using the EASYmode.

• The EASYmode onlyoperates in CAMERAmode.

1. Set thepowerswitchto CAMERAmode(see page18).

2. By pressingthe EASYbutton,allthe functionsof the camerawillbe setto

off and the recordingsettingswill be setto thefollowingbasicmode.

• Battery level,recordingmode,counter,date/time,DIS ( _'_] ) will be displayed

as thecamcorderstartsto run.

• Theword"EASY"willappearon the LCDat the sametime.

However,the Date/Timewill only be seenif ithasbeenpreviouslyset.

(DIS( _] ) will be displayedon SCL906/L907only)

4 Pressingthe EASY buttonagainturnsthe EASYmodeoff.

• In the EASYmode,the MENU,ME DSE,EAE and BLC functionsare notavailable.

• If you wantto usethesefunctions,youmustfirstswitchthe EASYmodeoff.

• The EASYmode settingsarestoredinthe camera(provideda good lithiumbatteryhas beeninstalled).
