Playing back a Tape

÷ The LCDcontrol in PLAYERmodeisidenticalto step3of the page26, exceptthe powerswitchmustbe setto PLAYERmode.

÷ The speaker is turnedON/OFFbyopening/closingthe LCD.

÷ The speakerON/OFFsettingoperateswhenthe LCD isopened.When it issetto OFF,the speakerwon'tturnon evenafteropen-

ing the LCD.

1. Set thepowerswitchto PLAYERmode.

2. Pressthe MENUON/OFFbutton,thenthe MENU listwill appear.

3. TurntheUP/DOWNdialto SPEAKER.

4. PressENTER to chooseON orOFE

5. Press the MENUON/OFFbuttonagaintoend the SPEAKERsetting.

÷ Speakervolumecan becontrolledbyturningthe UP/DOWNdial duringplayback. ]

Note: Whenthe MENUlist is on, volumewill not be changed.

÷ The procedurefor usingDSE inPLAYERmode isthe sameasthe procedurefor usingDSE inCAMERAmode,exceptthatthe

powerswitchmustbe setto PLAYERinsteadof CAMERA.Pleasereferto pages40 and41.

Note: TheSTROBE,NEG., MIRROR,MOSAIC,CINEMAand 16:9(WIDE)effectswill not operatewhen yourcamcorderisin PLAYER

mode.

÷ Pressingthe DSE buttonwill scrollthroughthe availablesettings.
