Remove the base enclosure:

1. Remove the Torx8 TM2.5×9.0 screw that secures the base enclosure to the computer.

2. Close the computer.

3. Turn the computer upside down, with the rear panel toward you.

4. Remove the following:

●

Four Torx8 TM2.5×9.0 screws (1) from the computer rear panel

●

Two rubber screw covers (2) (available in the Rubber Kit, spare part number 639483-001)

●

Two Torx8 TM2.5×9.0 screws (3) from the surface of the base enclosure

●

Three Phillips PM2.0×3.0 (4) screws from the battery bay
