5.0 Reader Connections

5.0.1. Reader Disconnect Resistors

If an external power supply and a reader disconnect feature is required, place a 470 Ohm – 1

Watt resistor (not supplied) at the reader.

NOTE: For use in the following diagrams, resistors are shown connected to the boards.

However, for best operation, resistors should be placed at the reader.
